Hey, have you heard about negative duty command? Today, I am going to talk about that. See, we and computers are almost designed the same way. Except for one big difference that we have between us and the computers. We have a delete key in the computer which our mind doesn’t have. So, if you want to forget something, you cannot forget. So, there’s no DELETE key in the mind that you have got. Now, let’s see why I am saying is because if you don’t remember something and then you have been trying hard and it’s not working out, can you try forgetting it? Can you give your mind a command, ‘hey please forget this, you don’t have to remember this.’ Just give negative command, just give negative command you have to forget this, you have to forget this, you have to forget this...and then see that you will be the last person to forget that. Negative command is a tool which lots of psychologists have used and then they have got good results. Most of the time we give our mind a positive command- you have to do this, you have to do this, and it’s like tired, bored maybe thinking about all the time about positive commands. In fact, we always make a To-do list to study this, to do this, to do this, to do this. But, why don’t we do one thing? Try one day, it is not a kind of panacea for everything but then give it a try. I don’t have to do this, I don’t have to do that, I don’t have to do that, I don’t have to do that. Make a NOT-TO-DO list. And if you have a not-do-do list in place, you would find that you are able to achieve lots of other things because lots of noise will be reduced. And a lot of time that you have at disposal to do something that you always wanted to do. So, try giving negative commands. Haven’t you seen the power of negative command that our fundamental right in the constitution of India has got? A good number of them are negatively commanded. Nobody, nowhere, no one. I mean all kinds start with NO. There’s a lot of POWER in negative command. So, try experimenting this NEGATIVE DUTY COMMAND. You will find an interesting way of saving a lot of NOISE that otherwise is entering your mind. My best wishes.
