Hi, in my teaching career, I have come across some students, who come to me and say that, ‘Sir this is not possible. I just cannot do it. It’s too much for me.’ Well, I mean, you have got something which is giving you difficulty. Imagine, probably, you have got a new horizon waiting for you beyond this.
Who knows? If you stop, you never get it. But then if you keep moving, you definitely get a new horizon. To get NEW HORIZON, you have to be moving. And if you can see your goal right in the beginning of your journey, I think this goal is too short and too small for you. I quite often find that quitting is just not an option. And life is beautiful. It has got a lot of surprises waiting, waiting for you.
Only thing is that you have to be having courage to keep moving. I have always moved by the lines that I am going to share with you and that’s beautiful and I think I like you to internalize this. I really love these lines.
It says, “ when I got enough confidence, the stage was gone. When I was sure of losing, I won. When I needed the people the most, they left me. When I learnt to dry my tears , I found a shoulder to cry on. When I mastered the skill of hating, someone started loving me from the core of the heart. And while waiting for light for hours when I fell asleep, the sun came out. That’s LIFE. No matter what you plan, you never know what life has PLANNED for you. Success introduces you to the WORLD, but FAILURE introduces the world to you. Always be HAPPY. Often when we lose HOPE and think this is the END, God smiles from above and says, ‘Relax Sweetheart, it is just a BEND, not the END.’ It is just a bend, not the end.”
That’s what it is. When you get some stage when you think that you just don’t have anything left for you, there’s nothing beyond this, it is just a bend, not an end. I must tell you, burn your towel before you throw your hat in the ring.
