C295 aircraft assembly plant

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated a plant in Vadodara, where Tata Advanced Systems Ltd (TASL) will manufacture the C-295 aircraft for the Indian Air Force (IAF). The facility will be the first private sector final assembly line for military aircraft in India.

Salt Typhoon

A sophisticated breach of U.S. telecommunications systems has extended to the presidential campaigns, raising questions about the group behind the attack and the extent of its efforts at collecting intelligence. It was unclear what data was taken in the attack. The far-reaching operation has been linked to the Chinese government and attributed to a group experts called Salt Typhoon.

Hasdeo Arand mining issue

The Hasdeo forest in Chhattisgarh saw villagers clash with the police, after tree-felling for mining of coal resumed in the green belt. Two police personnel, part of the security cover provided to forest officials, sustained arrow injuries, and 10 tribal people were booked for attempt to murder and rioting by the Sarguja police.

Microalgae growth at ISS

GS Paper - III

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and government’s Department of Biotechnology (DBT) have partnered to conduct a series of experiments in space, including testing the impact of metabolic supplements on muscle regeneration under microgravity and assessing how microgravity radiation reacts on microalgae at the International Space Station (ISS).
