India and Pakistan on 20 February 2017 extended their bilateral pact, dealing with reducing the risk of nuclear weapon-related accidents, for a period of five years.
India was the world’s largest importer of major arms in the last five years and its overseas procurement was far greater than that of China and Pakistan, a Stockholm-based think-tank said.
