• ICLS officers: The corporate sectors are mainly regulated by these officers. They monitor whether the corporate companies are running obeying the rules-regulations and the provisions as well narrated by the government.

• ITS officers; India's international trade and commerce is monitored by the officers. They formulate international trade policies too.

• IDES officers: Managing the land optimally as well as looking after the civil affairs in the cantonment has made this department the biggest landholder of all the ministries of Indian Government.

• IDAS officers: In respect of Army, Navy, Air Force, Ordnance factories, the financial advice of payment, internal audits everything is monitored by these officers.

• IOFS officers: The administration of the ordnance factories that mainly engage in manufacturing defence equipment is done by these officers.

• Indian Postal Service: The Indian postal service is run and monitored by the officers.

• Indian Postal And Telecommunication Accounts And Finance Service: The officers maintain the accounts related to the Indian postal service.

• IRAS officers: These officers look after the accounts and financing related to railway services

• IRPS officers: The officers considered to be the HR of the Indian railways

• IRTS officers: The officers manage passengers as well as the cargo traffic in railways

• RPF officers: The officers associated with Railway Protection Force serve the Indian railway as security commissioners.

 Group B services:

Group A jobs are mainly engaged in heading the departments it tops in the hierarchy and the group B services mainly include section officers.

• Armed Forces Headquarters Civil Service (AFHQ): The officers mainly contribute to functioning in AFHQ headquarters except for the technical areas.

• Delhi, Andaman And Nicobar Island Civil Service (DANICS): Being the union territories, the administrative aspects of these regions are taken care of the DANICS officers.

• Delhi, Andaman And Nicobar Island Police Service (DANIPS): The law and order aspects of the union territories are taken care of by the DANIPS officers.

• Pondicherry Civil Service: The administrative aspects of Pondicherry are taken care of these officers.

• Pondicherry Police Service: In the territory of Pondicherry, the law and order administration is taken care of these officers.
