Six SAMARTH Curated Training Programs have been introduced on the iGOT Karmayogi Platform under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions for State Government officials by Karmayogi Bharat and NITI Aayog.

Objective: These programs aim to elevate the skills and competencies of government officials, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet the evolving needs of governance.
Details of the programs are as follow:
- SAMARTH Blocks: Tailored for citizen-facing officials and local administrators, SAMARTH Blocks, having 14 courses, focuses on building foundational skills crucial for effective local governance.
- SAMARTH Zila: Aimed at district-level officials, SAMARTH Zila, comprising 14 courses, is designed to equip learners with the knowledge and tools required to address district-level challenges and drive effective service delivery.
- SAMARTH Rajya: Targeting state-level officials, the 14 courses of SAMARTH Rajya seek to equip learners with advanced skills required for steering governance at the state level.
- SAMARTH Rajya Sachiva: Tailored for senior officials and state secretaries, this program consisting of 14 courses, focuses on empowering learners with the expertise needed to navigate complex policy landscapes and drive transformative change.
- SAMARTH Policy: The 5 courses of SAMARTH Policy delve into the intricacies of policy formulation, policy writing, insights, data analysis, and evaluation.
- SAMARTH Procurement: Catering to officials involved in procurement processes, SAMARTH Procurement, having 9 courses, provides specialized training in procurement guidelines, rules, strategies, and considerations.
The National Programme for Civil Services Capacity Building (NPCSCB)- Mission Karmayogi:
Objective:
- It aims to create a competent civil service rooted in Indian ethos, with a shared understanding of India’s priorities, working in harmonization for effective and efficient public service delivery.
- The Mission seeks to keep the civil service at the center of all change, empowering them to deliver in challenging environments.
Feature:
- It was launched under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions.
- NPCSCB lays emphasis on developing the potential of officials, training institutes and the government. It re-energizes key aspects in the capacity building and HR management structure in government, including regulation and governance.
- On 2nd September 2020, the Government approved the NPCSCB with six key pillars including 1. Policy Framework, 2. Institutional Framework, 3. Competency Framework, 4. Digital Learning Framework (iGOT-Karmayogi), 5. The electronic Human Resource Management System (e-HRMS) and 6. The Monitoring and Evaluation Framework.
- The Programme covers all civil servants (including contractual employees) across different ministries, departments, organizations and agencies of the Union Government.
iGOT Karmayogi
- Objective: It is a comprehensive online learning platform to guide government officials in their capacity-building journey.
- Functional hubs: The portal combines six functional hubs for online learning, competency management, career management, discussions, events, and networking.
